Hallo and hi there! :)

Today I bought 3 Pantone (Letraset) markers, they were on sale because they have newer versions now. I’m figuring out right now if I like them or not. Does anyone of you have experience with them? Maybe I should get some more…
AND I found the perfect pen to draw with…only to discover they are no longer made. The V Ball Grip :( Maybe I have to search the web for some remains.

But besides that it was a beautiful sunny day! Tomorrow I’ll be helping Gemma setting up her new exhibition, pictures soon!

Oh oh oh, when I said see you tomorrow. of course I meant: see you Friday! ;)
Okay, that’s not true, but I guess I didn’t find enough time to write here or look at all those other supernice blogs…

I hope this weekend I can make some time for this blog :) For now I’m drawing stripe after stripe after stripe…trying to finish a poster today. It’s already been a long day. This morning I woke up early, because my business cards would finally arrive (6 days late) and when they arrived…they weren’t as I ordered! So this morning I tried to fix everything with the printer. I was pretty disappointed.

The last weeks it feels like I’m organizing my life everyday again. Writing more to-do-lists, I guess that’s what unemployment does to me? Today I picked up my new screen at GJ’s (it’s his old screen) and I cleaned up my desk, so now it feels like I have a whole new workplace :) I always worked with just my MacBook, but aaah this is so much better, yeay!

The first picture is of one of my lists – I always try to make them look nice, that works better I think! The second picture is taken while I was cleaning the old keyboard.

So, Saturday we took our bikes on the train and got out somewhere near the coast. We biked alongside the beach and the tulipfields. Had French fries and Italian icecream. A supernice spring day!

Again, there’s a long to-do-list waiting for me. This morning I heard I didn’t get the job I really wanted :( They got an overwhelming amount of letters… So, the search for a nice job continues…

Fridaynight I had a great start of this weekend. First we went to our favourite Belgian beer café and after that we went to eat lots of Indian food with 10 people and more beers and dancing after that :)

Yesterday we went biking to the beach, I will show you those pictures tomorrow. I hope your weekend was a lot of fun too! I’m off to cook some food now, see you soon!

So, Sunday after the opening of the exhibition we went to the fair that was nearby. It was a lot of fun, we all hadn’t been to a fair or an amusement park in years. We have done 2 rides on the rollercoaster and 1 ride on some sort of Octopus ride. :)

I’m also very happy that I purchased a ticket to the Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy show and and a ticket to the show Antony & The Johnsons is playing in Amsterdam with an orchestra. Yeay!

Sunday we went to an exhibition opening where Gemma was showing her work. It was a small, but really nice exhibition. Afterwards we went to the fair, I will show you the pictures later :) I really like the fake dog in the tent, don’t you?

Sunshine, jobhunting, Zooey Deschanel, ink, handwriting, hot air balloons, South Park…

A white pair of tights, a blue denim dress and white boots.

Do you nap a lot?
No, never actually. Only when I’m on holiday, then it is so nice to lay in the grass or on the beach and just doze away.

If you were a tree, what tree would you be?
This one. I’m note sure what kind of tree it is, a chestnut?

What’s for dinner?
I’m not sure yet, I’m thinking a vegetarian quiche and a salad. And maybe some homemade soup.

What was the last thing you bought?
A raisin/nut-bread at Marqt.

What are you listening to right now?
An Alela Diane song and a helicopter flying over my house.

What is your favourite weather?
I like all seasons, but spring and summer have to be my favourites. It gets me out of the house more, which is always a good thing.

What’s on your beside table?
A lamp, a glass of water, a postcard, earplugs and 3 books.

In Sweden, by a lake. Sigh…

Favourite vacation spot?
Last year I had a beautiful vacation at Corsica, but Sweden is still my favourite. Jumping in lakes and having lots of vegetarian bbq’s!

What would you like to have in your hands right now?
A kitten.

What is your favourite tea flavour?
Earl grey. Sometimes with milk.

What would you like to get rid of?
Oooh, I have the same problem as Lea, I have so much. So much of everything. Help!

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?
Somewhere on a roofterrace in the sun would be just fine.

What did you want to become as a child?
A bike courier. I still think this is a great job!
