Sure, you can say a lot of non-fun things about working eveningshifts… But one of the positive sides of it I remembered yesterday again. Biking home around 01:00 at night I listened to some nice music on my iPod, enjoying the empty streets and the flash of my camera :)
When I was just 5 minutes on my way I found two beautiful chairs at the street. Actually, they were too heavy and too big to take them with me on my bike. But I tried anyway. Lucky for me this guy stopped his car to offer me some rope to tie them to my bike (ha! how great is that?!) and so I walked for about an hour. Then climbed 4 stairs and I was home. Exhausted! I found out that the chairs are from Knoll/Saarinen, like this one, but a bit darker fabric. Nice find, huh! :)

very nice find indeed! i love finding furniture in the streets. we have a few items around the house, and it makes me happy. like i was especialy lucky that i was there at the right time (or maybe i am just the only one that wanted whatever it was i found :)
