ARRIVING

Posted by on August 13, 2009

I have to wait a few days until my rolls of films are developed, so until then I will show you some (snap)shots of our trip. After a night in Denmark we arrived at the westcoast of Sweden, and were welcomed at the beachhouse of our friend Fagge’s parents. Had a swim in the sea, great grillfood, nice wine and a game of Kubb. A good start!

BACK

Yes, I am back! I had a wonderful trip, but right now I’m still adjusting to real life (?) … So it might take a little time before posts here will be quite regular again :)

Do you ever feel like that? Adjusting after being away for some time? What do you do when you’re like that?

Okay, I’m off, see you in a couple of weeks! :)

SHADOWS

Posted by on July 10, 2009

I really love the building of the KABK. It has such a nice oldfashioned-school feeling. I must say the art school I went to, didn’t have these beautiful windows and shadows.

MORE KABK

More pictures of the exhibition.

Busy last weeks. Tomorrow is my birthday and Gemma and I decided to throw a small party in the park this Saturday…but the weather seems like autumn all of a sudden. Oh well, there’s always the living room.

GRADUATION TIME

Posted by on July 6, 2009

Saturday, GJ and I took the train to The Hague to visit the graduation exhibition of the KABK. And of course to congratulate my friend Barbara who graduated from the graphic design department.

I took a lot of pictures, so you know what you’ll be seeing here the coming posts… :)

ONE HUNDRED

Posted by on July 4, 2009

Thursday Gemma and I decided to leave Amsterdam behind us and go for a swim outside of the city.
Besides getting a little sunburned, it was a perfect mini-holiday!

I saw this on the BBC last week and I really really liked it.

And this is post numero 100! :)

40

Posted by on July 1, 2009

These pictures show a part of our 40 kilometers bikeride last Saturday. We were meeting GJ’s parents somewhere north of Amsterdam and decided the weather was too hot to go by car or bus. It wasn’t really sunny, but it was superwarm! Like rain and thunder would come over us any minute (but didn’t).
The little woollen sheep is a gift from GJ and it’s such a cute pet. It’s sitting on my MacBook right now. :)

It’s still very warm, so that is still my excuse this blog has become more of a weekly updated place, sorry!
I will try to catch up with all of you soon, I hope!

You can see a movie of the walls we painted right here.

And today is Gemma’s birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gemma!!

FINALLY PUNK

Yep, these are the last ones…

This evening after work I made a poster and tomorrow I have to finish another one. But I’m really looking forward to sleep in, so that is what I’m going to do first tomorrow :) I also did my voting for the EU today…do you guys have to vote as well (soon)?

These are almost the last pictures from Art Amsterdam… Supernice little white headless men, don’t you think?
