Busy last weeks. Tomorrow is my birthday and Gemma and I decided to throw a small party in the park this Saturday…but the weather seems like autumn all of a sudden. Oh well, there’s always the living room.

Thursday Gemma and I decided to leave Amsterdam behind us and go for a swim outside of the city.
Besides getting a little sunburned, it was a perfect mini-holiday!
I saw this on the BBC last week and I really really liked it.
And this is post numero 100! :)

Yesterday I have been working all day on a rush job for this leaflet. I will pick up the stencilled version this afternoon and of course show you how it turned out. Now I am off to help some more over there with illustrations and more…

These pictures show a part of our 40 kilometers bikeride last Saturday. We were meeting GJ’s parents somewhere north of Amsterdam and decided the weather was too hot to go by car or bus. It wasn’t really sunny, but it was superwarm! Like rain and thunder would come over us any minute (but didn’t).
The little woollen sheep is a gift from GJ and it’s such a cute pet. It’s sitting on my MacBook right now. :)
It’s still very warm, so that is still my excuse this blog has become more of a weekly updated place, sorry!
I will try to catch up with all of you soon, I hope!
You can see a movie of the walls we painted right here.
And today is Gemma’s birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Gemma!!

I was tagged by Brinja and now I finally wrote down five things I look forward to this summer! I hope you can read them :) If you would like to, consider yourselves tagged!
I’ve been away from my computer a lot, so there hasn’t been any blogging from me this past week. It feels like I’m a bit ‘out’ of it at the moment… Maybe it’s these busy weeks before going on vacation, maybe it’s the hot weather…I don’t know… But I hope I will blog some more this week. See you soon!

I try to eat almost every week at the MKZ, where they offer a three course vegan meal for only 5 euros. When the weather is nice, you can sit in the garden between the roses :)
Ps. Check out my friend Maaike’s band Dusty Blinds, they are awesome-o!

Two photos of the first roll I shot with my Konica C35 EF-P, I was testing it out. It’s a nice camera, but doesn’t do well inside. But I like the colours :) I have some more cameras to test out in the coming 4/5 weeks, because I also want to bring an analogue one with me on holiday.
Are you making holidayplans already?

Last week I thrifted this book that has this supernice illustrations (over 3700) in it. I like it a lot.
I saw this just now on BBC, I really have to watch all of Planet Earth…amaaaaazing!

I just couldn’t resist buying this one for 3 euros. I’ll probably never use it, since it needs film cassettes that are somewhat hard to find… But it looks nice just sitting around :)
